T-Party!

Finally, after waiting 4 months for the main part of my birthday present, the night was here.
Taylor Swift Concert!
Speak Now World Tour

And it was uhhh-mazzz-ing!!
Brent said it best for the men who were there. "Even if you don't like her music or don't know her songs, she knows how to put on a great show." Amen sista! However I also love her and her music and know all of her songs, so imagine how much more I enjoyed it.

So here's the low down on how the night went:

First we had to get there. And Arlington, TX has a lot going on. Which included the Texas Rangers game literally right down the street going on the same night a sold out Taylor Swift concert was happening at the Cowboys Stadium (55,000 people!). Now let's just think about the amount of cars driving to this one street. Thousands. Add some construction. Throw in some random stop lights because of the construction. And then add everyone funneling into one lane. Yup, there was a lot of this.

We can't say we weren't warned (thanks Court), but we didn't think it would ever be that bad. Lesson learned.

About 1 hour of that. Just sitting, and yelling at all the dumb drivers. At one point, Brent may or may not have driven illegally along with many other drivers. But hey, there really should've been some police directing traffic or making the lights stay green a bit longer.

Thankfully we got there before she went on, actually about an hour and a half before she got on so we sat through the opening bands which were meh. We were just so so so excited for her show to start.

And then T-Swift comes out and oh.my.gosh. the screaming was so insanely loud. It was such a great show. She sang every song off her newest album (14 songs) + about 5 extra songs. We loved every second of it, and it was a pretty long concert. There were sparklers, confetti, strobe lights, fireworks, the whole shebang! The stage and sets were gorgeous. Her dancers were extremely talented. And everything was so theatrical and fun. And we had some pretty incredible seats to enjoy it all.

About 1/4 of the crowd
Shocked by the size of the crowd
Flying over the crowd for Love Story
Her tribute to Dallas, wearing the Cowboys jersey. Gotta love the huge jumbo screen.

The finale!
Singing Enchanted:

Oh, and B.O.B. came and sang 'Airplanes'.

Definitely can't wait to see her in concert again, and all of you should add her to your bucket list. Perfect birthday present and perfect night with the hubs :)
